Drill Competition (State Championship)

What it is

The competitive drill program of the California Cadet Corps allows the Adjutant General and California Cadet Corps leadership to evaluate the quality of military drill instruction being provided to cadets.  The competitive drill program also promotes cadet morale and unit esprit de corps.

The State Drill Competition is a competitive State Championship conducted in accordance with CR 3-8 "Competitive Drill".  Battalions conduct school level competitions and the winners from each school in each category will advance to the brigade level.  Cadets winning at the brigade level represent the brigade at the annual State Championships.
