Cadets enter as Recruits and progress through a structured rank ladder that mirrors traditional military structure — junior enlisted, NCO, senior NCO, and officer grades. Promotion is earned through demonstrated proficiency, time in grade, and successful completion of promotion tests.

Take a Promotion Exam
Promotion exams are administered in the CACC HQ portal. Your commandant creates your exam in HQ and sends it to you — you do not sign up for one yourself. Sign in to HQ to take an exam your commandant has sent you.
Commandants: create and send promotion exams from the Promotion Testing area in CACC HQ.
