Annual General Inspection (AGI)

Headquarters review of every active CACC unit each year

Every CACC unit receives an Annual General Inspection from headquarters. The AGI evaluates the unit's administration, training, drill performance, uniform standards, and overall readiness — and helps headquarters target the resources each unit needs.

Overview

The Annual General Inspection (AGI) is an event conducted from the command headquarters to see how local units are performing. It is a California Military Veterans Code Requirement and is outlined in Cadet Regulation 1-6 in more detail.

Tips for Success

The AGI is a challenging inspection from the headquarters element. Preparing your staff and your paperwork is all a part of the process. As a unit, checking all your personnel files, inventories, newsletters, training schedules, yearly training calendars are vital aspects to doing well on the inspection. Ensuring your units are practicing drill and ceremonies, and more importantly, an open ranks inspection, will see your unit score high. Best of luck!
