Cyber Training Unit

Unit Description
The Cyber Training Unit at summer camp is a unique opportunity for cadets who are interested in learning about computer and technical skills. This unit is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience for cadets who have completed at least the 6th grade and have a passion for technology.
During the program, cadets will learn a variety of technical skills that will prepare them for careers in the field of computer science. They will start with the basics of computer structure and assembly, learning how to build a computer from scratch, install operating systems and software applications, and troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.

Requirements
Cadets will need to have completed the Sixth (6th) Grade.
Cadets participating should have an interest and some knowledge in use of a computer

Unit Description, cont.
Next, they will move on to network cable and server assembly, learning how to set up and configure servers and networks. Cadets will learn about network security, including how to protect against cyber threats such as viruses, malware, and phishing attacks. They will also learn about encryption and other security protocols to keep sensitive data safe.
In addition to learning about computer hardware and software, cadets will also learn programming/coding skills, including basic coding concepts, programming languages, and web development. They will have the opportunity to work on coding projects and develop their own websites and applications.
Finally, cadets will have the opportunity to explore robotics, including how to build and program robots using various technologies and programming languages. This will give them a chance to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Overall, the Cyber Training Unit is a fantastic opportunity for cadets to learn valuable technical skills in a fun and engaging way.
