Drill Instructor Course

What is the Drill Instructor Course?
The Cadet Drill Instructor Course is a comprehensive training program that teaches cadets how to become effective drill instructors. This course covers a range of topics, including drill and ceremony techniques, teaching methods, leadership, and communication skills. Cadets who complete this course will have the knowledge and skills necessary to lead drill instruction sessions for other cadets and ensure that their unit is well-prepared for military ceremonies and events. The Cadet Drill Instructor Course is a valuable experience for cadets who are interested in developing their leadership abilities and taking on additional responsibilities within their unit.

Cadet DI Course Prerequisites:
- Completion of 8th grade with 2 years experience or Completion of D&C Course
- Be in good physical condition, able to perform daily physical training/exercises comfortably
- Memorization of the Cadet Drill Instructors Creed before course completion
- Minimum rank of C/SGT
- Minimum grade of incoming 9th grader

Cadet Senior DI Course Prerequisites:
- Successful Completion of Cadet DI Course
- Be in good physical condition, able to perform and lead daily physical training/exercises comfortably
- Minimum rank of C/SFC
- Minimum grade of incoming 10th grader
- Email from 1LT Torres accepting you into the Senior DI program
- (Email request, your qualifications and reason you want to be an SDI to 1LT Torres to receive Acceptance Letter)
