What is summer camp?

The summer encampment at Camp San Luis Obispo is an exceptional leadership program for cadets. Led by experienced instructors, cadets will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Aspects of the Camp

ADVON: The ADVON team plays a critical role in the initial setup of the encampment, ensuring that the campsite is operational as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Leadership: This course provides a comprehensive training experience for cadets, offering both fundamental skills training and leadership development opportunities to help cadets become effective leaders in their community.

Advanced: The summer camp phase is a highly specialized training program that provides cadets with a unique opportunity to learn and develop specialized skills that will be valuable throughout their Cadet careers.

Costs and Logistics

Cost for the encampment is as follows: $150 for the length of the encampment. Scholarship link are available on the main summer camp page.

Medic Support: We have fully qualified adult and cadet medics on standby at all times in case of injury. You will be notified if there is anything to be concerned about
Medication: All medication will be turned in at in-processing and administered at appropriate time
